Schools Fantasy League is a fun and exciting resource that is a powerful learning
tool for thousands of students of all ages.
Teachers across the country have worked with our Education team to construct activities
that they think might be useful to you in the classroom. They are ideas that you
can build into your current teaching programmes and can easily be tailored to meet
your particular students’ needs. There are many opportunities to link the SFL programme
to different areas of the curriculum.
SFL, in association with Kids Connections, have developed some brand new lesson plans to help you
bring fantasy football into the classroom and make best use of the fantastic live data at your fingertips!
There are four new curriculum linked lessons with teacher notes, worksheets and PowerPoint presentations
for each!
SFL is a recognised educational resource and is quoted on the Curriculum Online web site.

Schools Fantasy League encourages pupils to develop analytical skills and improves computer dexterity. Making links between
SFL and the Science curriculum often stimulates pupils' interest in this area of learning. It can help them appreciate that
science is an integral part of modern culture and how science-based issues can affect their own lives and those around them.

Pupils will use a range of ICT tools in school to explore, analyse, exchange and present information. They will learn how
ICT can support different, people, communities, industries and cultures. Schools Fantasy League is an ideal project to
bring real-life situations into the classroom. It provides opportunities for pupils to link with company personnel via email
and for hands-on project opportunities and enables pupils to experience and consider the implications for ICT both in the
home and in business.

Citizenship aims to give pupils the knowledge, skills and understanding to participate and sustain an effective role
in society. Teachers have designed the SFL activities which will challenge pupils' perceptions about various aspects
of society and the way people interact and react to different situations.
